The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream Review and Giveaway!

There's nothing I love more than overnight creams/masks. If you know me, you'll now I have at least 8 or 9 different kinds of overnight creams that I use at least 4-5 times a week, because being the lazy bum that I am, I like to have my skincare put in work even when I'm catching up on my beauty sleep. A new line of products from The Body Shop is now available, and I was graciously provided the Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream for review purposes and have been testing it out the last few weeks. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed!

The Oils of Life range from The Body Shop uses a variety of natural seed oils to deeply nourish and revitalize the skin. A mixture of black cumin seed oil from Egypt, rosehip seed oil from Chile, and camellia seed oil from China work together to provide a cocktail of antioxidants, Omega 3 & 6, and nutritive oleic acid to help restore radiance, reduce signs of aging, and give a healthy glow to your skin overnight.

The Oils of Life line consists of an essence lotion, a facial oil, a day time cream, and an overnight cream. Each product contains 7 essential oils in addition to the 3 seed oils, including Lavender, Chamomile, and Rosemary seed oils. I've only been using the sleeping cream, but I'm very interested in that facial oil! I've been using a blend of rosemary, tea tree, and lavender oils, and it's done wonders for breakouts and irritation. :D

The cream itself has a light, pleasant gel-like consistency that makes for a really smooth application that sinks in quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling weighed down or sticky. For an overnight cream, I expected a much thicker/heavier texture, so I was surprised that this felt so light and airy. Despite the texture, the Oils of Life Sleeping Cream does a wonderful job of hydrating my skin overnight, which is especially difficult to do since I sleep with a fan directed at my face! I woke up with soft, supple skin that wasn't greasy feeling or weighed down. The formula is actually very wearable, and I can even see myself wearing this during the day under my makeup! It also has a sort of spicy, earthy fragrance that I find pleasant, but it may take some getting used to for those who don't like fragrance in their skin care. The fragrance is very light though, and doesn't linger long after application, which is definitely a plus.

Overall, I have really enjoyed the Oils of Life Revitalizing Sleeping Cream and will continue to incorporate it into my nightly skincare regimen, and will likely pick up the facial oil and the day time cream as well (definitely the facial oil, though. :D). The Sleeping Cream retails at $39, and you can shop the rest of the line here

If you want to try this Oils of Life Sleeping Cream from The Body Shop for free, you can head on over to my IG for a chance to win the full size! I think this cream would work well for any skin type, although those with drier skin may want to double up on their moisturizer in conjunction with the sleeping cream, since it is a bit light in texture. The winner will be chosen June 1, 2016. Good luck to all who enter!
