Haulzilla: Huge Jolse Haul and Cosrx Galore!

Huzzah! A week and a half ago, I placed an order with Jolse for a bunch of AB goodies that have been on my wishlist for the better part of this year, and two days ago, the mailman graced my doorstep with a huge package of ohmygod, so much AB goodness. It came so fast too, only a week and a half, straight from Korea! I tried not to go to crazy and stick to my budget, which I did (thankfully). Success. I got so many good things, I just have to share this with you all; expect a flooding of reviews and selfies of mah gorgeous skin after all this gets slowly incorporated into my routine!

First Impressions: Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser

I have been looking high and low for a low pH cleanser that doesn't dry out my skin. Lately I've been into the Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick (see my full review here) but I have been feeling iffy about the hygienic aspects of it since it's just a very large bar of soap in a plastic tube. I also noticed that after using it for a few months, it can leave my skin a little tight on some days. So on the days that I don't use the MRCS, I stray back to my Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, but it feels like putting lotion on my face and I suspect it's responsible for some clogged pores I get when I use it, and unfortunately foaming cleansers just dry me out completely. Alas, the search continues! Luckily, the lovely Cosrx sent me a sample of their Low pH Good Morning Cleanser and I have been using it for about four days, so I wanted to talk a little bit about it.

First Impressions: Sulwhasoo Overnight Vitalizing Mask

Hey there! Over the years, I've been implementing new skin care products into my routine, and recently I've become enamored with overnight masks, or sleeping packs, as many know them as. Admittedly, what drew me to overnight masks the most was the idea that a product is able to work for me by delivering moisture and other benefits to my skin while I'm asleep - it intrigued my inner lazy bumminess, and I had to pick up a couple to see what all the hype was about. Needless to say, I fell in in love, and now have 7 or 8 sitting all over in the little nooks and crannies of my room (hey, I know I have a problem. At least I admit it?).

Kloverbox September 2015 Review & Unboxing

Hey lovelies! It's been a while since I've put up a review! If I'm to be honest, I've been super busy with school and life in general, and haven't had the time nor the spoons to put up a nice, thorough post. Fortunately, I've found (a day) to review the September 2015 Kloverbox! TL;DR, this one was a good'un. I'm always feelin' Kloverbox in their curation and the products they send, and this month was no exception!

Product Review: Su:m37 Water-full Aqua Sleeping Pack

Hey there! Today I'm going to be talking about a new addition to my nightly Asian skincare routine, the Su:m37 Water-Full Aqua Sleeping Pack! Su:m37 is a mid-luxury skincare and makeup brand based in Korea. They specialize in naturally fermented skincare free of fragrances, artificial colors, and synthetic preservatives. While their products are generally pretty solid with great ingredients, they can get pricey and give you a run for your money. When this sleeping pack first hit the market, I purposely looked the other way, because I did NOT want to shell out $45-$50 for a sleeping pack, no matter how pretty and how luxurious. Just...no. Must. Protect. Wallet.

The Butter Box August & September Box Review & Unboxing!

Hey there! The Butter Box is a fairly new subscription box service, and it's a new subscription for me as well, so I'm very excited to open my first month's (well, first two month's) box! The Butter Box from My Butter Bar is a monthly subscription box full of high-quality, vegan bath and body products that are 100% all natural, and include no chemicals or chemically altered ingredients. Even the fragrances, preservation methods, and colorants are 100% au-naturale. Their products are safe enough to eat! Which is coincidentally their mantra: "Natural Products, Natural Scents, and good enough to eat Products - Period!".

Mishibox September 2015 Review & Unboxing

Hey there! My September Mishibox arrived on my doorstep this afternoon, and I couldn't wait to dig in to all the awesome Kbeauty goodies! I've been sick for the past two weeks, with no energy to anything aside from the bare minimum (even my blogging fell by the wayside a bit), so it was a welcome surprise to see my first subscription box of the month in my mailbox!

Day 3 of the #30daysofkbeauty Challenge: Low pH Cleanser!

Hey there! Day 3 of the #30daysofkbeauty challenge is all about low pH cleansers! Usually, I use a mixture of Asian and Western cleansers. The two cleansers I rarely stray from are the Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Cleansing Foam, and Cerave's Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Both of these cleansers are very gentle, low in pH, and leave my skin feeling clean without being stripped dry (that squeaky-clean feeling that we all know and love is BAD NEWS. You can read up about the importance of pH and maintaining the skin's moisture barrier over at Skin & Tonic's blog post here.) Today I'll be talking about Su:m37's Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick, which has recently earned a new place in my routine.

Day 2 of the #30daysofkbeauty Challenge: Oil Cleansers!

Hello! Day 2 of the #30daysofkbeauty challenge is all about oil cleansers, or first cleansers! The hallmark of the Asian skincare routine is double cleansing, a great SPF, and a moisturizer, and in order to get all traces of makeup off of your face so that your cleanser can do it's job, it's a good idea to invest in a first cleanser.

Day 1 of the #30daysofkbeauty Challenge: Recent Haul! Su:m37, Innisfree, 3 Concept Eyes & More!

Hey dolls! I have a haul for youuu! *Woot* I recently took advantage of an online sale at Bisou Beauty Bar, which is an Asian beauty shop located in Canada. Since this will be my first AB haul post, I've decided that I want in on the #30daysofkbeauty challenge that Reddit user /u/gothickornchic started on Instagram, in which we post and discuss all aspects of our skin care routines and everything K-beauty!

Mask of the Day: SNP Bird's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to be talking about the SNP Bird's Nest Aqua Ampoule Mask! I got this mask during a recent Memebox sale. I've been on a sheet masking kick lately. Normally, I like to stick to cheap, easily obtainable masks for every day hydration purposes, such as the My Beauty Diary masks or my good ol' trusty Dermal masks, because masking can get expensive if you're spending more than a dollar or so per mask, and ain't nobody got time for that. But I've been buying pricier masks (I guess for novelty purposes) because, what the hell. I like to make my skin care routine fun. And there is an abundance of weirdly cool masks in the Asian Beauty world.

Ipsy Glam Bag August 2015 Review

Hello!  Long time, no post! I've been extremely busy getting interviewed for houses, starting the new semester, and trying to get my life in order, pretty much. I haven't even had time to breathe, let alone blog, so a lot of posts that I planned to upload fell by the wayside. image Unfortunately, there won't be enough time in August to write up and post the reviews I missed. You can still see the subscriptions and products I've received on my Instagram, though, as I am the most active in the insta world!
