This is the info card that was sent. I totally tested the nail polish on the side of the card, so that's what that yellow spot is... image

May Island Peach Hand Cream ($6) &
Baviphat Peach All-in-One Peeling Gel Mini ($5)

I was so excited when I saw the May Island Peach Hand Cream! I am obsessed with the novelty of fruit-shaped things, and while Tony Moly was the brand that got me hooked on cute packaging, there are other companies that seem to be jumping on that bandwagon. This cream smells so good, kind of like a mix between nectarines and grapefruit actually, and very citrus-y. The formula is pretty thick, but not too thick, and after putting it on I couldn't stop smelling my hands! I probably looked like a weirdo. image

Yummy citrus-y goodness~

What Beauteque says:
"Smelling of fresh peaches, this cream contains extracts of peach, apricot, and shea butter for your smoothest skin yet."

The little tiny peach jar on the left is the Baviphat Peach All-in-One Peeling Gel Mini. I was kind of confused as to what this cute little jar contained, because when I opened it, it was a really soft, jelly-like consistency and I had the idea that it was a lip balm before I opened it. But it's actually a peeling gel! You just rub it onto your freshly cleansed skin and keep rubbing until you start to notice little flakes/balls forming, and that's apparently your dead skin cells coming off.

It also smelled so good, even better than the hand cream!

What Beauteque says:
"Exfoliate, reduce the appearance of pores, and brighten skin with this Vitamin-C rich treatment."
To use: Apply to dried off skin and rub in circular, gentle motions until product turns into small flakes, then rinse with lukewarm water."

I've always been kind of skeptical about peeling gels and treatments, because I've heard so many mixed reviews - some say the little flakes that form from rubbing the product around is just the product pilling, and that it isn't actually sloughing away dead skin. I've also read that the pilling is a mixture of dead skin cells, as well as the product. It did produce some balls/flakes of skin when I used this, and my skin did look and feel a bit softer afterward, so I guess it did help with minimizing my pores? image

Baviphat Strawberry Toxifying Mask ($26) &
Tony Moly Cotton Nail Balls ($4)

The Baviphat Strawberry Toxifying Mask smells so so sooo good. Just like strawberry yogurt. I couldn't wait to rub this stuff all over my face!  It's a clay mask that's already mixed, so it's all ready to go; all you have to do it rub this deliciousness all over your face, leave on for about 15 minutes, and then rinse! As someone with slightly oily skin who lives in one of the most humid cities in the US, clay masks really help with oil control. And the packaging is cute! I had to remind myself more than once that this was not actually strawberry yogurt.

I got clay all over everything from opening this.

What Beauteque says:
"This deep cleansing wash-off clay mask helps to tighten pores, control sebum, and give relief to troubled skin. Contains strawberry extract and fruit acids full of Vitamin-C that can speed up removal of dead skin cells and tighten pores. Antioxidants stave off signs of aging and protect skin. To use: Apply to clean skin for 15-20 minutes then rinse off with warm water."

The second item pictured up above are the Tony Moly Cotton Nail Balls. These are just cute little multi-colored cotton balls made to resemble cotton candy! So cute~ image They actually arrived at a super convenient time, because I had just ran out of cotton balls. I kind of don't want to use them though, they're so adorable!

What Beauteque says:
"Remove old nail polish and prep for a new shade with this cleverly-packaged bundle of cotton balls. To use: Pour a moderate amount of nail polish remover on cotton ball, then swipe across nails to remove polish."

Tony Moly Timeless EGF Second Skin Eye Goggles ($7)

Okay, so I have never used anything like these before. I love sheet masks, but I have yet to use sheet mask eye goggles.  These are supposed to have anti-wrinkle properties and skin whitening power. Asian skincare is very different from Western skincare in that where Western brands like to include tanning and bronzing properties to their products. Asian skincare, however, likes to focus on brightening and maintaining super-smooth, baby-like skin. You'd be hard-pressed to find any type of tanning product in an Asian beauty store.

Typically, I don't feel like eye masks do much for me, I guess because I have extremely dark under-eye circles from a mix of genetics and wearing glasses for most of my life, but this one felt very cooling and refreshing and did make my eyes seem less puffy. They felt kind of gel-like and stuck really well to my face, and I was able to walk around for the entire 20 minutes I had it on and get some cleaning done while wearing them. Although I'm only 22 and don't have many wrinkles yet, it can't hurt to start early, right?? Prevention is better than the cure! image

What Beauteque says:
"Offers anti-aging and brightening powers, while improving elasticity of the eye area, leaving this delicate area refreshed and younger-looking. To use: Cleanse your face and pat dry. Remove film on back of patch and apply to eye area with the largest part closest to the nose. Leave on for 10-20 minutes and remove."

iCharming Witch's Pouch Lip and Eye Remover ($10) &
iCharming Nail Polish ($5)

Sylveon for scale? * Emoticons * デコメ of the same face as well Anyway, the last two items I received were the iCharming Witch's Pouch Lip and Eye Remover, and an iCharming Nail Polish. I have such completely different opinions on these two products, which is funny because they're both from the same company. The Lip and Eye Remover contains collagen and it works like a charm! (Heh, get it? Charm? iCharming? I'll just see myself out). This honestly just makes my makeup melt off, even my waterproof mascara and Stila waterproof liquid eyeliner (which is well known for being a pain in the butt to remove). I love it. I might even repurchase it.

What Beauteque says:
"Remove lip and eye makeup in luxurious comfort. To use: Apply to a cotton swab and sweep gently across the eye area or lip area."

On the other hand, the iCharming nail polish was a letdown. I'm extremely pale, so yellow never looks good on me, and the nail polish itself was really thick and goopy so it was difficult to apply nicely. And it was also shimmery. I think the last thing that I would ever put on my nails is shimmery yellow nail polish.  The colors Beauteque sends vary though, so it isn't guaranteed that you'll receive this one.

What Beauteque says:
"(Shade will vary) Greet the season in polished style with a high gloss finish nail polish. To use: After removing old nail polish with the Tony Moly cotton nail ball and a polish remover, apply nail polish in vertical strokes to nails."

Final Verdict:
The Beauteque June BB Bag cost a total of $27.95 (including US shipping costs) and has a total retail value of $63. I'm so pleased with what this month's bag had to offer, and the fruit-shaped packaging was a home run for me! I love Beauteque because living in America, I don't get to see a lot of cute korean brands, and the monthly BB Bags are great at introducing me to a whole range of products that isn't available where I live. While I didn't like the nail polish, I like that this bag was very skincare-heavy, and I'll use and enjoy everything else I received, so I'm definitely pleased with Beauteque this month!

If you want to sign up for Beauteque's monthly BB Bag service, you can do so OVER HERE. Beauteque also has a main website where you can shop around for other K-Beauty items and limited edition bags, and that can be found OVER HERE.
